What to know before you start.

Which businesses does Trueshelf work for?

Trueshelf is designed for retailers, brands, distributors, and marketplace sellers with comparable products listed online. It is not intended for services or one-off custom products.

What counts as a product?

Each SKU or separately priced variant counts as one product. Two sizes with different prices count as two products.

What counts as a competitor?

One competitor is one distinct retailer website in one market. Trueshelf can monitor many matching products at that retailer.

Do I need a technical integration?

No. Begin with a CSV or Excel catalogue. Larger plans can use scheduled feeds and assisted integrations.

How often are prices checked?

Free and Starter prices are checked daily. Growth prices are checked three times a day. Every result shows when it was last checked.

Does Trueshelf automatically change my prices?

No. Trueshelf monitors the market and highlights what changed. Your team remains in control of every pricing decision.

What happens when a price cannot be confirmed?

Trueshelf marks the product as checking or needing review. It does not invent a value or present an old result as current.
